Note regarding 2019 Canadian Export Classification

As no changes were made to the Canadian Export Classification for 2019 relative to the 2018 version, a new 2019 version will not be issued. The 2018 version therefore is the most recent version and should continue to be used as the official Canadian Export Classification.

The Canadian Export Classification is a structured, hierarchical classification system based on the Harmonized Description and Coding System. The HS nomenclature is divided into 21 Sections, which in general, group goods produced in the same sector of the economy.
