Using data from the 1984 Assets and Debts Survey and the 1999 Survey of Financial Security, this article examines changes in wealth inequality between 1984 and 1999.

Farmers leaving the field

Farming is employing fewer and fewer Canadians over time. The year 1999 marked the beginning of a more pronounced downward trend. Some possible causes are explored in this study.
