Survey of 1986 Graduates
Description: This survey provided information
on labour-market experiences of 1986 graduates in the two years following
graduation, specifically focusing on employment-occupation and geographic
shifts of a key youth group at a key time.
Who/what was surveyed: Graduates from
Canadian postsecondary education institutions who graduated or completed the
requirements for degrees, diplomas or certificates during the calendar year
1986, excluding graduates from private postsecondary institutions, continuing
education (unless this led to a degree), part time trade courses for full
time employees, some vocational programs and apprenticeship programs
How the data were collected: Telephone

Demographic detail: age, sex, marital
status, language spoken at home, mother
tongue, dependent children, ethnic origin, place of birth
