Follow-up Survey of 1986 Graduates

Description: This survey, conducted in 1990, is a follow-up to the Survey of 1986 Graduates(1988). It examined the labour market experiences of university, college and trade/vocational graduates and completers.

The follow-up contributed to the analysis of a major youth labour market segment. It provided a sound analytical basis for youth employment programming and the overall implementation of the mandate of the Ministry of State for Youth. The results were also used by Employment and Immigration for data and monitoring activities of the Labour Force Development Strategy and the Stay-in-School Initiative.
