Labour market and income data guide December 2000 Provincial Wage and Salary Survey
Description: The objective of
this survey is to produce statistical information on wages and salaries
paid for various occupations classified to the 1990 National Occupation
Classification (NOC). This is a client-sponsored special survey that has been conducted in various provinces at different times. To date, the survey has been conducted in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta in 1996, Prince Edward Island and Saskatchewan in 1998, and Ontario and New Brunswick in 1999. Who/what is surveyed: Information about occupational characteristics is obtained from human resource managers of establishments with 6 or more employees. How the data is collected: Computer-assisted telephone interviews Geographic detail: Province; subprovincial detail is available for some surveys.
