F too unreliable to be published

1. Province or territory of usual residence.
2. Includes primary/secondary.
3. Labour Force Survey (LFS) estimates for Canada are derived using results from the provinces; the territories are excluded.
4. LFS data are only available from 1992 for the Yukon, from 2001 for the Northwest Territories, and from 2004 for Nunavut (10 largest communities).

Notes: The participation rate is based on a monthly average from September to April and includes full-time and part-time attendance. 'Other' types of education from the LFS are not included in the three types of schools: primary or secondary school; community college, junior college or CEGEP; and university, and are excluded from the numerators for the totals.
The elimination of Grade 13 (Ontario Academic Credits (OAC)) in Ontario after 2002/2003 may have affected participation rates at certain ages.
Figures may not add up to totals because of rounding. Some cells may show small revisions compared with past Pan-Canadian Education Indicators Program (PCEIP) tables due to minor differences in table production.
Caution should be exercised in interpreting the provincial ratios and differences in ratios between provinces and over time, as small estimates may present fairly high sampling variability. Estimates for small geographic areas, for small age-groups or for cross-classified variables will be associated with larger variability.
"E" indicates that the estimate has a coefficient of variation ranging between greater than 16.5% and less than or equal to 33.3%.
"F" indicates that the estimate has a coefficient of variation of greater than 33.3%.
