This figure shows the profile of student debt at graduation for master graduates and doctorate graduates for the Class of 2009-2010 who did not pursue further education.
Of all master graduates who did not pursue further education (100%), 44% had student debt to any source and 56% had no student debt. Nineteen percent had only government student debt, 14% had debt only to non-government sources and 11% had both government and non-government debt.
Of all doctorate graduates who did not pursue further education (100%), 41% had student debt to any source and 59% had no student debt. Eighteen percent had only government student debt, 9% had debt only to non-government sources and 14% had both government and non-government debt.
