Health Indicators (82-221-XIE): Volume 2001, No. 1 (April 2001) represents the second phase of the Health Indicators product release.

In Volume 2001, No. 1 (April 2001)

Contains health status and non-medical determinant indicators.
- Indicators from the National Population Health Survey (NPHS) at the Canada and province level for three survey cycles (where applicable): 1994/95, 1996/97, and 1998/99;
- Crude counts and rates of mortality and disability-free life expectancy at Canada, provinces and territories and health region levels.
Highlights for each of the National Population Health Survey/National Longitudinal Survey of Children and Youth indicators.

In Volume 2000, No. 1 (December 2000)

Indicators on health status, non-medical determinants of health, health system performance and community characteristics at the Canada, province, territories and health region levels.

A future Number will incorporate all previous Volumes and Numbers, resulting in one complete, integrated Health Indicators product.
