Note: BMI is calculated from weight and height collected from respondents. In the Canadian Community Health Survey, both self-reported and measured methods were used. Results obtained from comparing these two methods have shown that women are inclined to underestimate their weight, while men tend to overestimate their height. Moreover, underreporting of weight increases with higher levels of BMI.
