2. The survey excludes from its target population those living in the three territories, individuals living on Indian Reserves and on Crown Lands, residents of institutions, full-time members of the Canadian Armed Forces, and residents of certain remote regions.
3. Use of services and support resources in the 12 months prior to interview for problems concerning emotions, mental health or use of alcohol or drugs; specifically, hospitalization, personal or telephone consultation with professional, Internet support group/chat room, self-help group, telephone helpline.
4. Bootstrapping techniques were used to produce the coefficient of variation (CV) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs).
5. Data with a coefficient of variation (CV) from 16.6% to 33.3% are identified by an (E) and should be interpreted with caution.
6. Data with a coefficient of variation (CV) greater than 33.3% were suppressed (F) due to extreme sampling variability.
