This vertical bar chart illustrates the time of day when a person, aged 12 or older, was injured in Canada, 2009/2010.

The y-axis is measured by percentages and increases by increments of ten from 0 to 60.

Along the x-axis are the time of day categories; Morning; Afternoon; Evening; Night. Each category shows three vertical bars; one for each age group: 12 to 19; 20 to 64; 65 or older.

Of Canadians aged 12 to 19 who were injured, 14% were injured in the morning, 51% were injured in the afternoon, 30.2% were injured in the evening and 4.8% were injured at night.

Of Canadians aged 20 to 64 who were injured, 24.5% were injured in the morning, 42.8% were injured in the afternoon, 26.7% were injured in the evening and 6.1% were injured at night.

Of Canadians aged 65 or older who were injured, 30.5% were injured in the morning, 48.2% were injured in the afternoon, 17.7% were injured in the evening and 3.6% were injured at night.
