This is a vertical bar graph that illustrates the predicted maximal aerobic power of the household population 6 to 69 years old.

The Y axis presents the predicted maximal aerobic power (VO2max) in millilitres per kilogram of body weight per minute, and increases by increments of ten from 0 up to 60.

On the X axis from left to right the population is presented in the following five age groups: 6 to 11, 12 to 19, 20 to 39, 40 to 59 and 60 to 69. Each age group is further divided by sex.

Each bar represents the predicted VO2 max value for male or female respondents by age group. The equation for predicted VO2 max has not been validated for children aged 6 to 14; so, age groups containing these children are shown as shaded bars.
