On the X axis from left to right are the total and the following age groups: 12 to 19, 20 to 34, 35 to 44, 45 to 54, 55 to 64, 65 to 74 and 75 or older.
The percentages of respondents who reported having arthritis are the following:
- Total: men 12.0%, women 18.5%;
- Age group 12 to 19: men 0.7%, women 0.8%,
- Age group 20 to 34: men 2.5%, women 3.4%,
- Age group 35 to 44: men 6.6%, women 8.6%,
- Age group 45 to 54: men 13.9%, women 18.3%,
- Age group 55 to 64: men 21.3%, women 33.2%,
- Age group 65 to 74: men 31.0%, women 45.6%,
- Age group 75 or older: men 38.0%, women 56.5%.
