The y-axis is measured by percentages and increases by increments of ten from 0 to 60.

Along the x-axis are the age groups. From left to right, the age groups are: All ages; 12 to 19; 20 to 34; 35 to 44; 45 to 54; 55 to 64; 65 and older. Each age category shows two vertical bars; one for males and one for females.

Of Canadians all ages, 39.7% of males, and 51.4% of females reported consuming fruits and vegetables at least five times daily.

Of Canadians aged 12 to 19, 46.1% of males, and 52.4% of females reported consuming fruits and vegetables at least five times daily.

Of Canadians aged 20 to 34, 41.5% of males, and 49.4% of females reported consuming fruits and vegetables at least five times daily.

Of Canadians aged 35 to 44, 37.4% of males, and 50.4% of females reported consuming fruits and vegetables at least five times daily.

Of Canadians aged 45 to 54, 35.6% of males, and 50.6% of females reported consuming fruits and vegetables at least five times daily.

Of Canadians aged 55 to 64, 37.7% of males, and 51.9% of females reported consuming fruits and vegetables at least five times daily.

Of Canadians aged 65 and older, 41.4% of males, and 55.1% of females reported consuming fruits and vegetables at least five times daily.
