This is a vertical bar graph that illustrates the total blood mercury concentrations of the household population aged 6 to 79 years from 2007 to 2009.

The Y axis is measured in micrograms per litre and increases by increments of 0.2 from 0 up to 1.2.

On the X axis from left to right are all ages and the following five age groups: 6 to 11, 12 to 19, 20 to 39, 40 to 59 and 60 to 79. Each group is further divided by total and sex.

The data are:

  • Total age group 6 to 79: Total 0.69, males 0.68, females 0.70
  • Age group 6 to 11: Total 0.27, males 0.24, females 0.29
  • Age group 12 to 19: Total 0.31, males 0.29, females 0.33
  • Age group 20 to 39: Total 0.65, males 0.62, females 0.70
  • Age group 40 to 59: Total 1.02, males 1.04, females 0.99
  • Age group 60 to 79: Total 0.87, males 0.98, females 0.79

Note that the data for males for age group 12 to 19 should be used with caution as the data have a coefficient of variation from 16.6% to 33.3%.
