This is a vertical bar graph that illustrates the percentage of children and youth aged 6 to 19 that fall within each number of days per week category and sex category, by moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) target time.
The Y axis represents the percentage of the child and youth population and increases by increments of 20 from 0 up to 100.
On the X axis from left to right are the categories for the number of days per week (for which a respondent attains MVPA): at least 1 day, at least 3 days, and at least 6 days. These categories are divided by sex. The sex category is then further divided by the following moderate-to-vigorous physical activity target times: at least 30 minutes, and at least 60 minutes.
The results are the following:
- At least 1 day:
- Boys: at least 30 minutes 97%*, at least 60 minutes 85%*
- Girls: at least 30 minutes 93%, at least 60 minutes 74%
- At least 3 days:
- Boys: at least 30 minutes 83%*, at least 60 minutes 53%*
- Girls: at least 30 minutes 73%, at least 60 minutes 35%
- At least 6 days:
- Boys: at least 30 minutes 29%*, at least 60 minutes 9%*
- Girls: at least 30 minutes 21%, at least 60 minutes 4%E
