This vertical bar chart illustrates the percentage of Canadians who do not smoke who are exposed to second-hand smoke at home, by age group and sex in 2011.

The y-axis is measured by percentages and increases by increments of two from 0 to 18.

Along the x-axis are the age groups. From left to right, the age groups are: Total; 12 to 19; 20 to 34; 35 to 44; 45 to 54; 55 to 64; and 65 or older. Each age category shows two vertical bars; one for males and one for females.

Of Canadians all ages, 6.0% of males, and 5.0% of females were exposed to second-hand smoke at home.

Of Canadians aged 12 to 19, 12.9% of males, and 12.3% of females were exposed to second-hand smoke at home.

Of Canadians aged 20 to 34, 7.1% of males, and 5.1% of females were exposed to second-hand smoke at home.

Of Canadians aged 35 to 44, 2.9%E of males, and 3.3%E of females were exposed to second-hand smoke at home.

Of Canadians aged 45 to 54, 5.2%E of males, and 4.1% of females were exposed to second-hand smoke at home.

Of Canadians aged 55 to 64, 4.8% of males, and 4.0% of females were exposed to second-hand smoke at home.

Of Canadians aged 65 or older, 3.5% of males, and 3.3% of females were exposed to second-hand smoke at home.
