This vertical bar chart illustrates the percentage of Canadians who reported very good to excellent health by body mass index in 2011.

The y-axis is measured by percentages and increases by increments of ten from 0 to 80. Along the x-axis are the body mass index categories. From left to right the categories for body mass index are the following: underweight; normal; overweight; and obese.

In 2011, 61.1% of those who were underweight reported very good to excellent health.

In 2011, 66.9% of those who were normal weight reported very good to excellent health.

In 2011, 59.4% of those who were overweight reported very good to excellent health.

In 2011, 42.7% of those who were obese reported very good to excellent health.
