This is a line chart showing the percentage of Canadians who were physically active or moderately active during leisure time, by sex, between 2001 and 2011.

The y-axis is measured by percentages and increases by increments of ten from 0 to 70.

Along the x-axis are the years. From left to right, the years are 2001; 2003; 2005; 2007; 2008; 2009; 2010; and 2011. The top line represents the males and the bottom line represents females who are physically active or moderately active in leisure time.

In 2001, 50.3% of males, and 43.0% of females were physically active or moderately active during leisure time.

In 2003, 55.1% of males, and 48.6% of females were physically active or moderately active during leisure time.

In 2005, 54.8% of males, and 49.7% of females were physically active or moderately active during leisure time.

In 2007, 53.4% of males, and 47.6% of females were physically active or moderately active during leisure time.

In 2008, 54.5% of males, and 46.8% of females were physically active or moderately active during leisure time.

In 2009, 56.4% of males, and 48.7% of females were physically active or moderately active during leisure time.

In 2010, 54.9% of males, and 49.4% of females were physically active or moderately active during leisure time.

In 2011, 56.4% of males, and 51.3% of females were physically active or moderately active during leisure time.
