Starting in 2005, the population estimates used for the calculations of the life expectancy are presented in the Appendix I of the publication "Deaths" (catalogue number 84F0211XIE).
Starting in 2005, life expectancy is calculated using a 3-year average of age-specific mortality rates.
The "Territories" include Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
