12 to 17 years.
Note: Rates are calculated on the basis of 100,000 youth aged 12 to 17. The population estimates come from Statistics Canada, Demography Division. Populations as of July 1st:
preliminary postcensal for 2007. Percent change based on unrounded rates and are in comparison to the previous year’s rate.
