Deferred custody and supervision is a sentence under the Youth Criminal Justice Act effective April 1, 2003. Data begin in 2005/2006 when all jurisdictions (with the exception of Saskatchewan) were reporting data.
Note:
A case is one or more charges against an accused person or company that were processed by the courts at the same time and received a final decision. Due to the unavailability of data for certain years, data for Saskatchewan has been removed in order to make comparisons over time.
