'Total, mental or substance use disorder' is comprised of mental disorders or substance use disorders, and includes respondents who met the criteria for both a mental and a substance use disorder.
Mental disorders include depression, bipolar disorder or generalized anxiety disorder. Excludes respondents who met the criteria for both a mental and a substance use disorder.
Substance use disorders include alcohol abuse or dependence, cannabis abuse or dependence, or other drug abuse or dependence. Excludes respondents who met the criteria for both a substance use and a mental disorder.
Note:
Excludes respondents for which mental or substance use disorder in the past 12 months was not stated.
