This graph indicates a positive association between the level of education and average literacy test scores. This association is valid in all the age groups presented in the graph: 41 to 45 years, 46 to 50 years, 51 to 55 years, 56 to 60 years and 61 to 65 years. For example, the average score on the literacy scale of the 61 to 65 age group who did not complete their secondary studies was around 210. By comparison, this score was almost 300 for people in the same group who had earned a university degree.
