Percentage reporting excellent or very good health, Aboriginal adults 25 years and over, by Aboriginal group and sex, Canada, off reserve, 2001

This chart shows two vertical bar clusters for each of North American Indian, Métis and Inuit groups. In each of the population groups the two bar clusters are shown for males and females. Each cluster consists of three vertical bars for the age groups: 25 to 54 years, 55 to 64 years, 65 and over.

The chart shows that in each of the Aboriginal groups, women and men reported similar levels of excellent or very good health. The exception is between North American Indian men and women aged 55 to 64. Within this age group, 48% of men reported their health as excellent or very good compared to 26% of females.
