Percentage of seniors who see their relatives once a week or more, by place of residence and age group, 2003

In both the 65 to 74 and 75 and over age groups, those who live in more rural areas are more likely to see their relatives frequently. However, the differences are not very significant. Among people aged 65 to 74 years, for example, 42% saw their relatives at least once a week, compared to 47% of those living in regions with a low or non-existent metropolitan influence.
