Longitudinal Survey of Immigrants to Canada

A Portrait of Early Settlement Experiences

A Portrait of Early Settlement Experiences

This publication presents findings from the first wave of the Longitudinal Survey of Immigrants to Canada (LSIC). This survey is designed to study how recent immigrants adjust to life in Canada over time. It is also to provide information on the factors that can help or hinder this adjustment. Findings presented here are based on immigrant experiences six months after arrival.
