The Y axis is measured by percentage and increases in increments of five from 0 to 25.

The X axis lists the provinces and Canada as a whole. On the X axis from left to right are Canada, Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon, the North West Territories, and Nunavut.

Canada as a whole had a disability rate of 12.4% in 2001, an age standardized disability rate of 13.5% in 2006 and a non-standardized rate of 14.3% in 2006.

Newfoundland had a disability rate of 12.3% in 2001, an age standardized disability rate of 13.8% in 2006 and a non-standardized rate of 14.9% in 2006.

Prince Edward Island had a disability rate of 14.3% in 2001, an age standardized disability rate of 14.9% in 2006 and a non-standardized rate of 16.2% in 2006.

Nova Scotia had a disability rate of 17.1% in 2001, an age standardized disability rate of 18.6% in 2006 and a non-standardized rate of 20.0% in 2006.

New Brunswick had a disability rate of 14.4% in 2001, an age standardized disability rate of 16.0% in 2006 and a non-standardized rate of 17.2% in 2006.

Quebec had a disability rate of 8.4% in 2001, an age standardized disability rate of 9.6% in 2006 and a non-standardized rate of 10.3% in 2006.

Ontario had a disability rate of 13.5% in 2001, an age standardized disability rate of 14.6% in 2006 and a non-standardized rate of 15.4% in 2006.

Manitoba had a disability rate of 14.2% in 2001, an age standardized disability rate of 15.1% in 2006 and a non-standardized disability rate of 15.7% in 2006.

Saskatchewan had a disability rate of 14.5% in 2001, an age standardized disability rate of 15.2% in 2006 and a non-standardized rate of 16.0% in 2006.

Alberta had a disability rate of 12.5% in 2001, an age standardized disability rate of 13.0% in 2006 and a non-standardized rate of 13.6% in 2006.

British Columbia had a disability rate of 14.0% in 2001, an age standardized disability rate of 15.0% in 2006 and a non-standardized rate of 16.0% in 2006.
