The population excludes persons living in institutions, on Indian reserves, and in the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.
Total respondent income is the sum (including loss) of any paid, self-employed, government payments, and other income for taxation years, 2000 (2001) and 2005 (2006).
Year 2000 income data was converted to 2005 dollars, based on annual CPI indexes.
The sum of values for each category may differ from the total due to rounding.
