Median total income in 2005 by Aboriginal identity, population aged 25 to 54

This is a vertical bar chart that shows the 2005 median total income of the population, by Aboriginal identity.
The Y axis is measured in dollars and increases in increments of 5,000 from 0 to 40,000.
The X axis lists the following 5 Aboriginal identity groups from left to right: total Aboriginal population, North American Indian/First Nations people, Métis, Inuit and non-Aboriginal population.
The median total income for the total Aboriginal population is $22,366.
The median total income for North American Indian/First Nations people is $19,114.
The median total income for Métis is $27,728.
The median total income for Inuit is $24,782.
The median total income for the non-Aboriginal population is $33,394.
Note(s): Median total income includes earnings from all sources including employment income as well as government transfers. The median income is the middle value where half of the specified population earns more and half the population earns less.
