It is a new team that has worked on the planning, production, analysis and dissemination of this updated set of population projections for Canada, provinces and territories. I would like to thank first Patrice Dion, manager of the projections, as well as Jonathan Chagnon and Jean-Dominique Morency, who have done most of the work related to the project.
Other persons from Demographic analysis and projections section as well as from Demography Division have been closely involved with the projections, such as Éric Caron Malenfant, Carol D'Aoust, Hubert Denis, Julie Faubert, Stéphane Gilbert, Waldemar Gorniak, Marjorie Kirk, Anne Milan, Jean-François Naud and Geneviève Ouellet.
I also wish to thank all partners that have been asked to provide comments on the assumptions and scenarios: provincial and territorial focal points, Citizenship and Immigration Canada as well as the various internal and external committees associated with Demography Division. I am also thankful to our many clients for their recommendations and comments over the last few years.
