Figure 3.1 shows a map of Canada with a representation of the agriculture ecumene mask file overlaying the provincial and territorial cartographic boundary file. The agriculture ecumene is represented by a green shade and the non-ecumene areas are represented with a yellow shade. The outline of Canada's land mass and shorelines has been generalized for mapping at a small scale.
