BiblioCat

BiblioCat is the online public access catalogue (OPAC) of the Statistics Canada Library which provides access to all Statistics Canada publications, other government and non-government publications, audio/visual items and electronic resources.

DLI

Data Liberation Initiative (DLI) allows faculty and students at participating Canadian post-secondary institutions access to standard, machine-readable Statistics Canada products. Access is only for the purposes of teaching, academic research and publishing, and planning of educational services within the institution.

DSP

Depository Services Program (DSP) is the mechanism by which the Canadian government fulfills its obligation to provide information free of charge to the public. Through this program, information from government departments and agencies is distributed to an approved network of depository libraries.

Keywords

Keywords are controlled index terms from the Statistics Canada Thesaurus which are assigned by indexers from the Library to products and services in the Online Catalogue (OLC) to describe the content of the information resources.

Subjects

Subjects are terms from the Statistics Canada “Statistics by subject” list which provides access by broad concepts.
