The RDC Network

The Research Data Centres program is operated through a partnership with the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Canadian Foundation for Innovation (CFI), Statistics Canada and a consortium of universities across the country. Twenty one of these universities host a Research Data Centre or a branch at their campus which is run and serviced by Statistics Canada analysts. In addition, a centre has been established in Ottawa to service the analytical needs of federal departments.

The RDC network consists of 15 Research Data Centres, 6 branch RDCs and the Federal Research Data Centre in Ottawa. Currently 43 postsecondary institutions are members of the network.
