Survey of Labour and Income Dynamics electronic data dictionary (SLID)

The SLID electronic data dictionary (SEDD) is a useful research tool for identifying survey variables of interest. In HTML format, the user is guided through the hierarchy of survey content. Full detail is provided for each variable: name, definition, and code set or range of values. The use of the SEDD as an initial step should simplify extraction from the data files.

The SLID electronic data dictionary may also be downloaded to your computer. First, a self-extracting "zip" (exe) file is copied to your computer. Running this program will extract a set of HTML files. Open file SLIDEDTR.HTM to access the SEDD.
