Includes general hospitals and other hospitals and related institutions, facilities for persons with a disability, nursing homes, residences for senior citizens, and chronic and long-term care and related facilities, homes and treatment centres for children with psychiatric disorders or developmental disabilities.
 
3. Includes correctional and penal institutions, jails, establishments for delinquents and young offenders, and police lock-up facilities.
 
4. Includes shelters for abused women and children, shelters for persons lacking a fixed address, and other shelters and lodging and rooming with assistance services.
