Percentage of Labour force and employees covered by a registered pension plan (RPP)
The data used from Labour Force Survey (labour force and employees) are annual averages to which the number of Canadian Forces members and Reserve Forces members was added.
Employees refer to employees in the public and private sector and include self-employed workers in incorporated business (with and without paid help).
Registered pension plans are plans established by either employers or unions to provide retirement income to employees.
