Change of country codes - Serbia and Montenegro

Note to Users

Statistics Canada will be introducing the following changes to country codes for Serbia and Montenegro. These changes will be effective with the Release of October 2006 data.

Serbia and Montenegro with Numeric code 288 and Alpha code - (CS).
Country groupings impacted are:
  • 299 - Other Europe
  • 997 - All countries except USA
  • 998 - All countries
Serbia with Numeric code 274 and Alpha code - ( RS).
Country groupings impacted are:
  • 299 - Other Europe
  • 997 - All countries except USA
  • 998 - All countries
Montenegro with Numeric code 275 and Alpha code - (ME).
Country groupings impacted are:
  • 299 - Other Europe
  • 997 - All countries except USA
  • 998 - All countries
