The purpose of this survey is to collect information on business expectations and conditions in Canada as well as emerging issues.

These data are crucial in helping governments, chambers of commerce and business associations, across Canada, devise strategies, policies and mechanisms in support businesses in Canada.

Collecting business data is now more important than ever in order to support the economy effectively as we are engaging in a recovery period. It is essential to have current data to fully understand the extent of the impact of the pandemic on Canadian businesses, industries, manufacturing and trade, investments, prices and employment. These data are critical for making informed decisions in the months ahead.

The information you provide may be used by Statistics Canada for other statistical and research purposes. In addition, information from partially completed or unsaved questionnaires may be retained and used.
