Data are now available from the 2017 Ontario First Nations Point-of-Sale Exemption Survey.
The survey collects information on the exemptions provided to Indian Status Card holders at the time they purchased selected goods and services off reserve. The exemption corresponds to the 8% provincial portion of the Harmonized Sales Tax in Ontario.
