Prices received by farmers in February for grains, oilseeds, specialty crops, cattle, hogs, poultry, eggs and dairy products are now available at the provincial level.
For example, the price of hogs in Quebec was $65.46 per hundredweight in February, down 0.1% from January and down 19.7% from February 2018 when the price was $81.56 per hundredweight.
Meanwhile, the price of canola in Manitoba was $479.38 per tonne in February, up 1.3% from January but down 5.2% from February 2018 when the price was $505.69 per tonne.

The price of over 35 commodities is available by province, with some data series going back 40 years. Price data are extracted from administrative files and derived from Statistics Canada surveys.
