Telecommunications services producer price indexes, second quarter 2021

The telecommunications services producer price indexes (TSPPI) measure quarterly price changes for the following telecommunications services: fixed telecommunications services (except Internet access) and cable, satellite and other program distribution services.

With each release, data for the previous quarter may have been revised. Data are also subject to an annual revision that is released along with second-quarter data for the following reference year. The indexes are not seasonally adjusted. Data are available at the Canada level only.

With the release of data for the fourth quarter of 2019, the telecommunications services price indexes were renamed "telecommunications services producer price indexes."

Starting with the fourth quarter 2020 reference period, the TSPPI series have been converted from 2016=100 to first quarter 2020=100.
