Numerical variables can be presented in a variety of ways, including stem and leaf plots and frequency distribution tables, as seen in the section entitled "Organizing data".

Two other methods are presented in this section: cumulative frequency graphs and cumulative percentage graphs. These analytical graphs are very useful in finding the central tendency of large data sets, as well as providing other valuable information.
