Elsa's Story - Transcript

Description of visuals

(Elsa, a recent South Asian immigrant in her 30s, stands in front of a graphic background of a hospital and speaks.)

Elsa: "We first chose this area because there were other South Asian families living here. We are Bengali, so it's nice to have people around that we have so much in common with. Initially, there were no medical services. Then, a great doctor's office opened up nearby. The doctor told me that the census data showed that there were a lot of families here, so it made sense to open up their practice in my neighborhood. My husband and I are very happy to have a family doctor in our community."

(It fades to black, and the Canada wordmark fades in.)
