Statistics Canada does not endorse any of the views expressed in tweets posted by users, and in no way verifies or confirms the accuracy of those tweets. Tweets that violate Rules of engagement may result in the user being blocked from the account.

Statistics Canada recognizes that the Internet is a 24/7 medium, and your tweets, direct messages and @Replies are welcome at any time. However, posting and moderating will occur during regular office hours, Monday to Friday. Messages posted after business hours or on weekends and statutory holidays will be read as early as possible.
Twitter may occasionally be unavailable. Statistics Canada is not responsible for a lack of service caused by Twitter downtime.
The number of tweets posted each business day will vary and may depend, for example, on the number of articles and publications that are being released.
Statistics Canada may retweet information posted on the official Twitter accounts of other Government of Canada institutions and other statistical organizations when that information is deemed relevant to Statistics Canada's mandate and followers. The decision to retweet a particular message does not imply endorsement of any kind.
Messages and @Replies
Statistics Canada welcomes feedback and ideas that are constructive and relevant from its followers. All messages and @Replies will be read and any emerging themes or helpful suggestions will be passed to the appropriate people in the organization.
