Hi, my name is Jane and I am planning to retire later this year.
Retirement! It’s a big decision to make, and there are many things that need to be considered. For instance, when exactly is the right time for you to retire, and what are all the things you need to plan for retirement? Those are the questions we may ask ourselves.
If you are looking for more information to help you with your retirement decisions, Statistics Canada is a great source of free data. For example, they have data about tax planning related to older couples. There’s also data about types of housing and life satisfaction among Canadians of retirement age and beyond.
Women might be interested to hear that they even have data specifically about us, including information about life expectancy, living arrangements, and social participation.
