Our understanding of Canada's diverse and dynamic energy sector is fuelled by data! The Canadian Energy Information Portal brings together reliable government data on Canada's energy mix, including electricity, renewable energy and oil and gas. The portal has been developed by Statistics Canada in partnership with the National Energy Board (NEB), Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC). Moving forward, Statistics Canada will launch the Canadian Centre for Energy Information to expand publically available data and analysis, and to ensure all Canadians have access to centralized energy information.
