StatsCAN App welcome screen: Welcome to StatsCAN. Delivering insight through data for a better Canada.

About mobile applications at Statistics Canada

Canadians are increasingly using mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets to access Government of Canada information and services. To keep pace with this demand and to better serve Canadians, Statistics Canada is optimizing its online information and services for mobile devices.

Mobile applications are being developed to support the agency's data collection and publication modernization agenda and respond to the ever-changing data landscape.

About StatsCAN

Statistics Canada publishes data through its official platforms: The Daily and StatsCAN Plus. In January 2022, it introduced StatsCAN—Statistics Canada's newest mobile application.

StatsCAN allows Canadians to stay on top of all the latest news, fun facts, visuals, stories and key information on Canada's economy, society and environment throughout the day.

The mobile application is available for free in the App Store and Google Play.
