The chart also shows the declining rate of bilingualism over the life cycle among Anglophones outside Quebec. Hence, people age 15 to 19 in 1996 had a bilingualism rate of 15.2%. It then declined to 12.2% at age 20 to 24 in 2001; to 10.3% at age 25 to 29 in 2006; and to 8.3% at age 30 to 34 in 2011.
