Selected job tenure among employed women aged 55 to 64, Canada, 1976 to 2004

This graph gives information on working women between 55 and 64 years of age only. It illustrates that between 1976 and 2004, the proportion of these women who had their job for five or fewer years remained relatively stable around 30%. Since around 1986, the proportion of women who held their job for 20 or more years was constantly on the rise, going from around 5% in 1986 to 10% in 2004.
